Non-Emergency Transportation (NET)

An additional service offered to our community is the Non-Emergency Transportation Program. Through this program we are able to provide non-emergency transportation for eligible Medicaid recipients to appointments for Medicaid covered services. These services may be requested by phone, in writing or in person. After the request is received and eligibility is verified transportation arrangements are made. Arrangements may be made by a method of transportation provided by Muskingum County Job and Family Services contractors, such as Z-Bus rides or by gas cards issued to the recipient. Please make transportation requests as far in advance as possible, but in any case no less than two working days to allow adequate time for proper arrangements to be made.

For information about the Non–Emergency Transportation Program or to make a transportation request please contact the Muskingum County Job and Family Services Call Center at 740.454.0161, select Option 2.  When you hear the next prompt, select Option 3.  You will be transferred to a live Customer Service Agent.

Out of town callers may dial 1.800.242.0029, select Option 2 and at the prompt select Option 3.  You will be transferred to a live Customer Service Agent.
