Intake DepartmentThe Intake Department is responsible for initial contact with the client when information is received by the agency and no case already exists, or client contact is required when a case is reopening from closed status. They are responsible for initiating a case file, both hard copy and in the computer. If paternity has not been established then the case information would be forwarded to the Paternity Department. If paternity has been established, the case would be forwarded to the Enforcement Department. The intake department feels that it has an obligation and commitment to serve the community by providing accurate information with attention to detail in the establishment of paternity, child support orders and medical orders.
